INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY

Elevators are complex  electro-mechanical assemblies. 

These components produce heat, usually due to electrical resistance or mechanical friction. Excess heat is dissipated into the adjacent space if not removed by efficient cooling, can compromise the  system components  and there can be a high probability of failure.

Failures of elevators can be serious because human injury and equipment outages cannot be tolerated. It can cause irreversible damage, resulting in equipment failure and/or catastrophic fire. 

Trending Thermal Imaging can be utilized to compile a behavior over a period of time i.e. monthly and thereafter assess any pattern change or an anomaly that is obvious in the thermal image. 

We do not advocate an annual or one time thermal imaging for elevator equipment as this MAY OR MAY NOT reveal any deficiency.
